OS X and VNC?

Being an OS X user and proud Macintosh owner, I try to learn all that I can about the platform. I was, however, a bit surprised when my buddy Will over at PismoTek pointed me to OS X’s built-in VNC viewer.

Here I’ve been using Chicken of the VNC, and Jolly’s, when there was better(?) solution in the OS!

In the Finder, hit “Go” then “Connect to Server” from the MenuBar. Put in the following:

vnc://IPADDRESS:PORT/

And viola!

Of course, if the server is using the default port, you can omit that portion entirely.
