Cyphers http://www.cypherstech.com/?p=1448 We recently completed a large project for a giant in the color calibration industry. This was a medium-to-large VB6 to Real Studio conversion, and involved designing a few custom user interface components.

This project ran in to the 800-hour range, and the main development phase lasted for about three months. After this time, during the beta phase, specification changes were made and implemented, as well as all the bugs we could fix before the contract period expired. The project has now been turned over to the owner.

Cyphers http://www.cypherstech.com/?p=1429 On Wednesday, August 17, 2011, three of the websites in the CyphersTECH family were compromised due to a vulnerability in a third-party script. The issue was quickly resolved, and is now being monitored to make sure that all traces of the malicious code that had been injected in to our pages are gone. Should you have any issues, or be suspicious about the behavior on any of our pages, please use the Contact Us section to let us know immediately.

No customer data was compromised in this attack, as we took every necessary step to keep the attacker’s access to a minimum. As of now, all passwords of real security clearance have been changed, and our security has been hardened much. We must reiterate, no highly sensitive customer information was obtained by the attacker(s), and the system is now, once again, clean and stable.

A couple of months ago we sent out a notification to all of our hosting customers informing them that by May 1st, all hosting operations would cease. The hosting market is a tough game to join, as is the WordPress development and design market. As a result, we will be narrowing our field to focus on Real Studio. We’ve been blessed in the last few months to be chosen for some excellent opportunities at advancement, and as such we will need to focus our efforts a bit more.

On May 1st, all customer websites will no longer be responsive. It is up to each customer to ensure that their own downtime will be minimal by purchasing hosting elsewhere and migrating their website. It’s been a great deal of fun over the last couple of years, and we do hope that each of you finds the perfect host for your wallet. There are many excellent hosting providers out there, and if you need help just contact support.
